Our goal is to do things differently when it comes to tax preparation. We pride ourselves in treating each and every one of our clients like Family. It is our cornerstone. We know that you work hard for your family, so we will work hard for you.
Expect to be treated as a valued individual with the upmost respect, fairness, and professionalism.
We respect our clients. You deserve confidence and transparency when it comes to your taxes. We honor you, our clients, by providing peace of mind. Rest assured we strive to achieve the best tax outcome possible for you and your Family.
We will work with you to find all of the possible credits, deductions, and other potential tax savings.
We give back to the community who supports us. Each year a portion of our earnings from tax preparation will be given as a financial contribution to a local non-profit.
More information will be posted soon for our 2020 partner.
On March 27th, 2020, the Economic Relief Package was signed into law as the largest stimulus package in history. Part of this 2 Trillion dollar deal, will be $300 billion in direct payments to Americans. The package includes new IRS provisions and other benefits to help the many who have been impacted by Covid-19.
Taxpayers may be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit when they file their 2021 tax return. This rebate credit is available to taxpayers who did not receive their Economic Impact Payment (stimulus check) in 2020 or only received part of the payment they should be eligible for. The Economic Impact Payment issued out to taxpayers in 2020 was based on IRS tax record on file for tax year 2018 or 2019. If circumstances changed in 2020 such as income or dependents, you may be entitled for the Recovery Rebate Credit. The IRS will send out Notice 1444 “Your Economic Impact Payment”. Save this with your 2020 records to help determine your eligible rebate amount.
The recent economic shut down due to Covid-19 has had a tremendous impact on small and local businesses. James Family Tax will be providing updates soon on how we can support our local restaurants, salons, retailers, fitness studios, and other industries impacted.
